The Mothers Blend Capsules

First note that you can enjoy the blend with water, coconut water or juice of choice such as apple, pineapple, orange, etc. Customers always report how much they love it with their favourite juice, and that it is very easy to consume this way! Others are happy to have it in water alone, and get it down the hatch!

Some of the most popular ways to consume The Mother’s Blend and The Children’s Blend include: 

• Simply Stir Method - add serving to a glass, add water and stir. A hot tip if you are a little fussier with taste, opt for juice or coconut water instead of water (apple, pineapple, orange, etc). Bear in mind, using this method may not create a smooth and fully emulsified drink, so please use the below methods to help fully emulsify the powder into a liquid. 
• The Paste Method – add serving to a glass and add a tiny bit of water or juice to mix into a paste. This will help fully emulsify the powder (as we don’t add any emulsifiers to our products), then slowly add more water and mix. This method should fully emulsify the powder into a drinkable liquid. 
• The Shaker Method – add serving and liquid to a jar or a Foraged shaker and shake until fully emulsified. 
• The Whizzy Stick – add serving to a glass and use a whizzy stick to blend. With water, juice, whatever you choose! 
• The Foraged Choccy Milkshake – blitz the blend with milk of your choice, grass-fed collagen, cacao and a few drops of monk fruit. Here is a must follow recipe for you here that uses a frozen banana, or here, that keeps it very basic.
• Foraged Gummies – the perfect nourishing snack! Recipes here and here!
• Yoghurt – Add to unsweetened yoghurt with berries and/or other fruit.

• The Foraged hot (warm) chocolate – combine the blend with your milk of choice, grass-fed gelatin, cacao, ghee/butter or coconut oil, vanilla essence, monk fruit or maple syrup, in a saucepan and heat. Avoid over-heating to preserve the probiotics! Recipe here.
• The blitzed method – add serving and liquid to a blender and blitz for a few seconds to emulsify into the consistency of a juice.
• Add to a smoothie or smoothie bowl of your choice – pairs great with foods like strawberry, blueberry, banana, yoghurt or coconut products, grass-fed collagen powder, cucumber, zucchini, etc.

• Chia berry jam – the best way to spike pancakes with extra nutrients. Recipe here.
• Porridge – sprinkle on top of semi-cooled (not piping hot) porridge and mix in.

• Storing them in a cool, dry place especially if you live in a humid area
• Sealing them properly after use.. like seriously tight!
• Avoiding moisture (no wet spoons or fingers!), and keeping the moisture sachets in the jars
• Not leaving them in hot cars or sunny windowsills
• If you purchase a refill subscription pouch, always pour straight into a Foraged jar or airtight container after openining

Remember, you’re not handling a lab-made synthetic powder here. You’re handling a pure, concentrated food. That’s why our blends may look denser, darker, or more “rustic” and imperfect than what you’re used to.. because well, they are.

• Your order will be sent out every 4 or 6 weeks, you choose! If you find you are taking a slower amount of time to devour it, or gobbling it up faster than expected, you can move your shipment date forward or backward.
• By beginning your subscription, it is a commitment to the initial 3 shipments. This will continue onwards every 4 or 6 weeks unless you choose to opt out at any time after the 3 shipments (unless the pouch has already been shipped).
• At each chosen time frame, $85 will be deducted, and your shipment will be sent automatically.

The most prominent flavour in the blend is beetroot. You will get hints of the other ingredients in the blend as well, creating an earthy flavour for some. The product was purposefully created with no artificial colours and sweeteners. One of the many reasons for this was because we believe if you are consuming something, taste is all part of the natural process! Having a bubble-gum flavoured powder is so far from the natural taste of foods, which is why we love that our blend is the perfect balance of delicious beetroot, earthy, REAL foods, the way nature intended. 

There is no right or wrong here! The best time to take the blend is the time that suits your lifestyle the most.

Yes, we have had required nutrient testing done on the product that can be found in the nutrition panel on the back of the jar and within the images on the individual product pages.

If you don’t see the nutrient you are curious about, this is to display a nutrient on the website or packaging, this creates a ‘nutrient claim’, which is only possible to do if a serve of the product contains a certain percentage of the RDI of this specific nutrient, so some nutrients present are not able to be displayed.

No! Whilst the ingredients have been included in amounts that are safe to those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, ultimately The Mother’s Blend is FOOD! There is nothing about The Mother’s Blend that is only for women to consume. It can be a valuable addition to anyone that tolerates the ingredients, including men!

The Mothers Blend has been tested and is considered ‘low histamine’. The fermentation process is in a controlled environment rather than being a ‘wild ferment’, which also makes for a lower histamine product. Everyone is different, but so far those sensitive to histamines have tolerated the blend well. 

For us to be able to fit the regular serving size into capsules, we had to remove the beetroot juice powder, and the stevia was also removed due to not needing a sweetener inside capsules.

Without these two ingredients, we were able to fit The Mother’s Blend serving into 8 capsules (depending on how many you would like to take). Besides this minor adjustment, the rest of the ingredients and nutrients were kept the same (kelp, beef liver, fermented greens, camu camu, etc).

Because of this, if you are taking the capsule option we do recommend including plenty of beetroot in your diet, or adding beetroot juice powder into your day where possible due to the nutritional profile it offers and the way it acts as a synergist for the other ingredients found in the blend.
