Our Organic Beef Liver is the same freeze-dried beef liver we use in our Staples range.

It is sourced from certified organic, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Australian cattle.

Our beef liver is freeze-dried to preserve it's nutrient profile, and undergoes regular nutrient and microbial testing to ensure it's purity and nutrient density.

Taking Organic Beef Liver alongside The Mothers Blend is up to your personal preference and your unique nutrient demands.

They are suitable to take together, and many consume a full serve of The Mothers Blend and the full serve of Organic Beef Liver daily - if they personally feel they are needing this, or have been suggested this by their practitioner, or have had nutrient testing that highlights this is needed. 

Many ask about the vitamin A in both products, so when consuming both full serves together (of The Mothers Blend and Organic Beef Liver) the vitamin A content comes to ~556ug. The RDI is 800ug (bare minimum), and the Upper Limit is 3,000ug (toxic limit) - so consuming both together is well within a suitable range without exceeding the Upper Limit.

However if you have any further concerns about vitamin A dietary intake, it is best to discuss with your trusted health professional who knows your unique health status and can assist you in ensuring you are consuming a suitable amount of vitamin A through dietary intake.

As The Mothers Blend contains beef liver already, you can also just consume a smaller serving size of Organic Beef Liver if this is what you would prefer.

For example, Organic Beef Liver recommended serving size is 5 capsules, but there is about 2-3 caps worth of beef liver in a serve of The Mothers Blend (depending on how heavy handed you are), so you could take an additional 1-3 Organic Beef Liver capsules per day if you just wanted a touch extra nutrients from beef liver without consuming the full serve of Organic Beef Liver.

How much you add is up to your nutrient requirements, taste preference and age of who is consuming it e.g. it is not suitable for children to consume the full serve of Organic Beef Liver.

Organic Beef Liver is a pure, food-based nourishment, consisting of 100% freeze-dried beef liver, and is therefore suitable for all ages and life stages. However, the amount depends on age.

Also please bear in mind that a Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) means the bare minimum to consume via diet in order to function. The Upper Limit (UL) however, is the maximum amount recommended to consume before toxicity occurs, particularly from supplementation. So exceeding the RDI is suitable and in many cases recommended, but always being mindful to not consistently exceed the Upper Limit with supplementation.
