Replenish Me Chocolate Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 cup hemp seeds (ideally activated)
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (ideally activated)
- 3 Tbsp collagen
- 1 Tbsp The Mothers or Children's Blend
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 3 Tbsp cacao powder
- 3/4 cup fresh medjool dates, pips removed
Method:
- Blend all ingredients until well combined.
- Add the below optional flavour (if adding choc chips, just use your hands or a spoon to mix them through).
- Lay down a piece of baking paper onto a plate, and roll the mixture into balls - roughly 1 tbsp per ball. If the coconut oil or oils from the seeds begins to come through, just pat the rolled ball with a paper towel and then place on the baking paper.
- Keep them how they are, or coat them in the optional coatings below!
- Place them in the fridge or freezer to set and be stored - however they are most delicious straight from the fridge.
Optional flavour twists:
Keep it to the OG flavour - the plain chocolate above or add to the above:
- Replenish Me Chocolate GINGER Balls: 2-3 tsps ginger (depending on your liking for spice!). Blend it through.
- Replenish Me Chocolate PEPPERMINT Balls:3-4 drops of peppermint oil (start with three and work up to your preferred flavour, gently mixing/blending in between each drop).
- Replenish Me Chocolate CHIP Balls:1/4 cup chocolate buttons/chips/chopped chocolate. Mix these through with your hands!
Coating options:
Roll, drizzle or sprinkle l in either...
-
1 cup toasted coconut (must be done before placing in fridge or freezer otherwise the coconut won't stick!)
- 1/2-3/4 melted chocolate (ideally done after the balls have set in the freezer for 30 or so minutes.
- Coat in nothing!
- Other options include bee pollen, a sprinkle of salt, or more hemp seeds.
