Foraged For You was founded by Sheridan Austin in May of 2020.

Sheridan had previously turned to nutrition for her own wellbeing and then became particularly passionate about nourishment for herself and her family. Going on to then study and practice as a clinician, helping hundreds of people worldwide, it was clear to Sheridan that there was a large shortcoming when it came to true human nourishment. There was and still is a huge lack of knowledge, awareness, and accessibility many have to quality products and quality information about food and health, particularly within the space of pregnancy, postpartum and family nutrition. 

“In 2017, I became pregnant with my little precious boy Malakai. During this journey of becoming a mother, I became overwhelmingly passionate about nourishing myself during such a physically demanding time, whilst also knowing I wanted to do things a little differently when it came to growing my babies. I combined my education, natural curiosity, and ability to question societal norms, and began nourishing myself with very specific high quality food and food-based products, knowing that the nutrients, co-factors, and minerals present in foods are potent, pure, and work synergistically in ways we are still yet to understand. I went through my pregnancies optimising my diet whilst taking an array of wholefood capsules and powders, spending hundreds of dollars in order to receive the nutrients that I required for my pregnancy. 

Amongst these things, I just couldn't find the quality that we all deserve – 100% organic and free from synthetic additives, flavours, fillers and emulsifiers, and with the specific ingredients that I wanted – foods that have a precise nutritional profile. So I decided, for myself, friends and family, that I wanted to create something myself. After two years of very in-depth research and trialling, the birth of my second baby occurred - The Mother’s Blend!".

With this experience, passion, and known need amongst the community, Sheridan developed an organic, synthetic-free, chemical-free, real and fermented food-based product range, starting firstly with The Mother's Blend.

Amongst birthing and raising her very nourished little boys, she also gave life to the mini empire now known as Foraged For You, with The Mother’s Blend quickly became a staple in thousands of homes worldwide. 

The growth was incredibly unexpected, with customers becoming so obsessed that it became a hot topic among mothers groups, families, friends, cafes, in the online health space. With little to no marketing but a lot of word of mouth, the blend would consistently sell out due to exceptionally high demand. Sheridan went from packing orders herself with her toddler, to then sourcing support externally, to now dispatching from their very own warehouse, just to try to keep up! After birthing her second son, Xander, she thankfully had her husband, Sean, step in and support the (almost) uncontrollable growth of Foraged For You. 

The blends now supports thousands of mothers, families and humans across the globe, and is still growing exponentially in both popularity and product range. There was, and still is, nothing else like it on the market, and Sheridan could not be more fulfilled by how many hearts and homes it has touched as she continues to receive countless reviews daily of how supported these people and families feel.

Sheridan's own family, every single day, are beyond grateful for the loving support, incredibly kind customers (often referred to as our 'cult-like’ customers - haha!), and the opportunity to work together as a family, whilst changing the lives of so many others.
