These have been a staple in my fridge since before pregnancy, and now it's a lunchbox staple since my babies were old enough to eat! Whilst we generally stick to our Foraged spiked gummies as the main staple, I occasionally rotate between different flavours. This time, I have done a turmeric, ginger and honey gummy to support them getting in some anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties. Healthy(ish) Gluten Free Carbonara

Traditional carbonara is not like modern, or Western carbonara... it has no cream. It's simply cheese and eggs plus whatever additions you want in your sauce that makes the creamy glorious texture. However, here's my little upgrade, keeping the classic carbonara in its true roots with just a few nourishing additions and some optional twists.  If you're serving it as a complete meal, I recommend serving it with a side of additional protein (or mixed through!) and even a simple rocket salad. I cannot take full credit for these - whilst I have added my twist, played and adjusted ingredient amounts and ensured this is the simplest method on the planet (some are, I feel, unnecessarily long) - the base of this recipe comes from Brazil.
